Riverside Cottage
Our beautiful historic watermill cottage is a destination in itself and close to so many historic and must-visit locations in the heart of Game of Thrones country.
Riverside Cottage was built in 1791 as a working Watermill and is uniquely located sitting in the Ballylinney River. Few cottages offer such unique features as their own little bridge which leads to the front door and a private rivers edge garden with the sound of the river flowing past your windows. Olde world charm combines with modern luxuries with many original features such as a vaulted ceiling, oak beams, thick solid stone walls, and the original stone waterwheel well.
We are perfectly located in the heart of mid Antrim, the ideal central spot to visit all the Game of Thrones sites, as well as many more historic sights including; The Giants Causeway, Carrickfergus Castle (9 Mins), Titanic Museum (18 mins) and many of our beautiful National Trust Properties. A Golf Club is just 6 minutes away, and the nearest seafront only 9 minutes.
Our new Wood Fired Hot Tub, sits in a unique location right on the edge of the River, under the deep red maple tree, overlooking the river bank, river, and fields beyond.
Enjoy our Hot Tub, with Jacuzzi jets, colour changing LED’s and star gaze, free from light pollution on a clear dark evening, or watch the wildlife and nature on sunny spring or summers day.
And if you love the snow, have a winter break sitting in the steaming hot tub as the snow falls. All whilst listening to the therapeutic sound of the river flowing past.
We offer the option to book the Cottage at a standard rate (without hot tub use); a Hot Tub Package; or as a Hot Tub Date Night Package, all of which can be booked easily through our booking tab.
